I have spent most of my life living and working around Darlington and now reside in Hurworth on Tees along with my horses, dogs and my cat Murphy. I run a small livery yard in my ‘spare’ time.

After attending school in Darlington I commenced my working life as a ‘Clerk’ working for a Main Ford Dealership. Being ambitious led me to the position of H.C.O. in the Health Service where I gained more knowledge and experience working with people at all levels. This led to other promotion opportunities and after various job roles including SEMTA/Neta Training, Business Link and formerly Finance Manager for Hartlepool Sixth Form College.

In March 2006 - 2007 I was given the opportunity to work for my current employer ‘The Enterprise Agency’ in the role of Finance Manager. I feel that my role will be a challenge but I am a capable administrator, professional and credible, who is able to work autonomously or as part of a team and feel that I can ‘make a difference’.
